Its my first event with Churp Churp and i was excited till my pants nearly fell off. Whoop! Haha!
26th February 2011...
Well, started the journey with being awesome in the train. =) Yes, you know what i mean. ;D
Camsluts in action.
And according to daddy, it will only take us probably around 10mins (max) to get to KL Live from KLCC. So as soon as we got off the train, we walked up 2 flights of stairs *Catches breath* and as usual, first thing i tell Cammie,
"This is what happens when people are lacking of exercise." Hahahaha! Yes, i tell that to her all the time. =) Whether it is me or her panting. Hahaha! Oh, especially walking up to the library in the old campus. Haha!! *Phew*
Funny thing, it started drizzling. Thank God for that! Or we would have walked there! Hahaha! And why Thank God that it started drizzling? Because it was definitely a longgg walk! We took the other way.. So yeah. Hahaha! We got a cab which took 5 mins from KLCC to KL Live. Haha!
Oh yes! * Interrupt* My current nails! =D *Rawr*

We had a little hiccups upon entering the place though but it was all cool. Organizer straighten things out. =) And she is also the one who brought GBOB to Malaysia! =D Woo hoo! I love her! =D
This is what it looks like inside... Oh we were early.. =) We reached KL at 6 and settled down by 7 AND watched Rina go through a dry run.. Hehe. =) Yep, we were that early!

Guess who i met there?! Yes yes, Tikkoss and Aunty Sandy! =) Shes a really sweet lady and shes lucky shes got a son like him. =)
By maybe 8? The crowd started coming... When i say crowd, there was only about 100 people? Which is VERY FEW! We decided not to join the crowd and just stay behind where all the cool people are. Haha.... There were 2 Russian girls dancing like theres no tomorrow. Haha! The party always starts from the back. ;D
Anyhoots... To hell with the amount of people there.. OMG! The entrance was only RM10! Haha! =) But yeah... Nobody but a few of these people... Oh well, dont need to become sardines. =) We didnt know where to stand so we asked this guy holding a camera.. Hes really friendly! He wanted to bring us upstairs. Thanks, Jeet! =D
First band we saw was last years winner, Rustic (China). They were alright.. Nothing to brag about but theyve got mad skills! =)
This is Luminasion (Thailand).. Hmm.. The pianist got my email add but i dont see any new adds. Hahaha! =P Perasan pulak! =P
I love the singers ability to scream at the top of his lungs and still be able to keep his voice. Hahaha! Oh see the keyboard up there? Damn yeng right?! I like!
Picture below is the Tillegra Damned. They were good! Sort of regretted not standing infront though. But oh well, they stood close by after that... Saw them in KFC too... Too shy to take picture with them then though. But when the event was over, Cammie and i got to snap some pictures with some of the band members from various groups! =) MmmMmm~
This is the Amazing Insurance Salesman (China). Yes, that is what they named themselves. Something special, eh? Haha! The drummer, AWESOMUZ TO THE MAXIMOUS!
Oh, this was when we noticed we were too hungry to stand there and watch them battle their lungs off. Yes, literally. No, jokes. =P Haha! We walked across to Wisma KFC. Yes, KFC headquarters, its right opposite KL Live. Had dinner there and this is when we got to look see look see abit. See the guy on the right? Thats the Thailand band and the one on the left, Russian. Hehe.
We took this AND THEN she tells us that the Polaroid pictures are free. Haha! Quite big too! Each of us got one. =) Picture below.

Hehe! And by the time we got back (I think we missed about 5 bands? Haha!) it was Sonsteek (South Africa) playing! They were good alright! =O
And after Sonsteek.. It was our very own Bombers (Malaysia)!!! They can definitely perform.. But... Malay song? To English educated judges? Ok ok maybe theyre not exactly looking for people who sings well and according to the lyrics but the band and performance itself. Haha. Anyhoots, i screamed my lungs out for you! =)
After the Bombers played, we went and rest at corner.. Seeing that there was tons of space for us to stand infront, with the crowd (Not much of a crowd, i could flap my hands around and not touch a single hair). Yeah. Haha! =)

And then it was Magua (Ukraine) playing.. Yes, he had a green face, wearing a long skirt and sport shoes. Haha! But hes pretty talented! Harmonica and guitar. =)

But yeah, then it was the Voodoo Vanity (Norway) And the picture right below is of the guy i think is super hot! Oh God! Hes so pretty! Eyeliner boy, im falling hard for you. ;D Hahaha! Doesnt he look like Kesha!?
This is Voodoo Vanity's lead singer... He kind of freaks me out... As compared to the one above. So adorable! I feel like pinching his cheeks.

These are some of their supporters. =) The 2 loudest cheer after Malaysia would be Norway and Australia. Their supporters are so loyal~ =)
Then the Salvador (Russia). They were good too! Remember i said last year's winner has mad skills, they were better. Haha! Serious!
Next up was Dubtonic KRU (Jamaica). One thing i like about their band is that their music is very soothing to the ears... Plus, this guy in white, he alone used 3 different instruments! Haha!
Funniest part about the is the beginning of the event. Actually, before it even begun. We stood outside making calls near the big banner. And they wanted to take a picture there so we moved away.. They insisted that we had a picture with them! Haha! =) They such friendly people. Hehe... Oh.. They even took pictures of us. Yes, just us. So paiseh! *Funnier part later on*
Cammie: Yo yo! This is my girlfriend! And that, she is just the tag along girl.

This is Cammies favourite. Hehehe! She said he has (forgot what was the word he used) because he stage dived. Haha! Thought it was pretty hilarious because the band from Australia were the victims! Hahaahahha! After he got back on stage, the Australian (The one i manage to take picture with- Youll see it later) said, "I thought my back broke." All i could do was laugh, hard. Haha!

This one was a little quiet though. Haha. He plays the harmonica too! Absolutely love his military jacket though.

Another funny thing was, after i added Jit Ming on Facebook, he said "15 friends in common, not bad" and i noticed, "HEY! Theyre all rotaractors!!". Next thing you know, i found out he is a Rotaractor too! Haha! Small world small world! =)
And we stood together from then onwards. Hahaha! See what i mean Nuffnang?! When i say you bring people together? =) Hehehe. Thank you, Nuffnang and ofcourse Churp Churp! =)

What think you? I should do it right?! All i need is a shirt and fabric paint... =) Good idea? Then that would be the shirt i wear to any of the Nuffnang or Churp Churp event... Or is it too much of a hassle? Like Uniform much?! Hahaha! But... Well.... I feel like it. So, when i have the time, i will SOOOO do it!
If you want to, you can do it! =) I will not opt to print because im only making ONE piece and... Yeah, it would be pricey and troublesome AND it would lack personal touch. ;D But heck, my shirt will be as usual, black. Ill make is according to my blog's template, designs and colours.

So they were playing... Lalala! And the lead has stunts... Where he jumps in the air and do about a round to a round and a half spins while waiting for his turn to sing.. Yeah, just like how you would jump when youre on the ice doing axel.. But less graceful ofcourse.
He even dropped his pick but yeah... He is awesome! He manage to stand still, pick up his pick, walk back to his mic and sang... Awesomely! (Oh speaking of picks, CAMMIE WAS SO LUCKY!! He saw my oh so handsome German babe throw down his pick which landed right infront of us and she GOT THE PICK!!! OMG!!! *Jealous much!*)- Happy for you though. =D
