This is basically how it all started,
"We are a group of individuals who came together to start the ERewards Book in Malaysia believing that we can make a difference to those who are in need. For some time, we realize that the people who are at the forefront of charities always had to struggle with finances in their endeavour to bring respite to the handicapped, the disabled, the poor and the oppressed. The cry for help is ringed with echoes for mercy and love and the uncertainties that the poor and the needy face requires a clear solution
For some time, we have been looking for an answer but all we heard were echoes. The search brought us to different avenues that were positioned to help people in need and whilst there were options, few of these options were practical and viable. None of them were concerted in their benefits and none could be applied on a wide-spread basis. When one of our members came back from Australia excited with a product that could be used extensively to help charities, we reviewed it with an open mind. After some deliberation and adjustments, we came to the conclusion that we should pursue this possibility. Out of this initial discussion came the birth of the ERewards Book.
With Charity organizations and NGOs empowered to sell the book to raise funds for themselves and with the tremendous benefit offered by the rewards carried in the book making it significant value for money, the EReward Book has opened a new page in helping Malaysian charities and bodies wanting to raise funds. We are confident that this concept of great "rewards" given will catch fire in this country and beyond and it will give us latitude to build an organization with a heart to bring goodness to those are in need. Our call is a call of true charity and our mission is to bring empowerment and enablement to people who in being beneficiaries will be able to bring the same blessing to others. It is in this extension of the hand of assistance to our fellowmen irrespective of race, religion and creed that will make the 1Malaysia theme truly relevant."
This is what the book looks like. Pretty! |
"It is a comprehensive listing offine - dining & family – casual dining outlets in the Klang Valley offering gourmet dining experiences & value - for - money meals
It gives value discounts & special offers from retail outlets like goldsmiths, opticians, boutiques, restaurants, cinemas, florists, etc.

They even got support from the Minister of Tourism Malaysia, YB Dato' Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen:
This is a book of vouchers which i would definitely get. There will be a launching sometime next month in Ikea/Ikano (Not too sure where) but everyone is welcome to attend. I will be there! Haha. Well, my dad will be there too. =) But yeah, you guys should go check it out. If you shop alot and you feel that there is a need to save money, hey why not right? =)
Plus the money is used to be given to charity.
Namely: the Orang Kurang Upaya and the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.
Its good for both who wants to increase their business market and those who would like to spend less and get the same amount. Vouchers baby! =D
