Brad Bird directed an incredibly fun movie. To watch him do his first live-action movie is kind of surreal because you see these moments that are really funny, and specific and about character — and you think, “WOW, that’s so Brad Bird”… but then you think, “God, I’ve never seen a Brad Bird live action movie, ever.” So its a weird thing to see stuff that feels… He’s a great filmmaker who just happens to have been using the tools of animation. It’s going great. And the IMAX footage in particular is looking INSANE.

Plot:

The IMF is shut down when it's implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization's name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this.

Baird says:

“He’s ruined me for everyone else. I’m not going to understand after this point why any actor doesn’t want to do all of their own stunts and hang off of a mile-high building. He truly loves the movies and the movie-making process, and he knows a ton about it but is incredibly polite and shows up on time and has done all of his homework. He’s made for movies the way Michael Phelps is built for swimming. You look at the directors he’s worked with too, it’s a who’s who. Scorsese and Kubrick and Spielberg and Oliver Stone — when Oliver Stone was making better movies — and Michael Mann and Sydney Pollack and on and on and on. It’s kind of stunning. Not every one of them was a great movie, but he’s worked with great directors over and over again, and you can engage him in those conversations.”

First Look at Tom Cruise on the Set of "One Shot"

Plot:

The story centers on Tom Cruise' Jack Reacher, a drifter and former military police officer who investigates a sniper accused of murdering five people. Jai Courtney will portray another sniper who is hell-bent on stopping Jack Reacher's investigation.
