If you can find it online for less, you can download it for less.
(some software is even free)

If you haven't already notice Apps in the Mac Store are limited.
Windows could of done a Windows ExeStore the same way Mac did; by making all .exe software available in one place.
However, not all AppStore's are deceiving.
The iPhone and iPad AppStore are different than the Mac AppStore.
You can't play an iPhone App on the Mac or PC.
